Welcome to the informational website for the proposed mixed-use, mixed-income development at 1721-29 15th Street in the Mission District of San Francisco.


This site is designed for the community to better understand the details of the proposed building, its role in the neighborhood, and key milestones in the planning and building process.

Currently, the site is occupied by vacant buildings that formerly housed auto service businesses. The existing buildings will be removed and replaced with a six-story, mixed-use, mixed-income building. 


The new building will include 41 total new homes: 9 below market rate and 32 market rate. There will be a mix of 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom and studio units. There will be ample bicycle parking and no car parking to take advantage of the nearby public transit, bikeways and walkable services. Residents will have access to open space in rear yards, as well as the common space roof deck.

Along the street, there will be two, two-story commercial spaces complemented with five new street trees. There will be four short-term bike parking spaces at the front of the building, along with new passenger loading zones for safety
